Org Posting
This post was written from an org capture template. I am learning quite a lot about org-mode though it is barely scratching the surface. Regardless, I now understand my init.el much better than before when I was just copying things from here and there. I am even understanding a bit about the functions being used.
I now have capture templates for both longer blog posts as well as shorter notes. I am planning to add a link-blog section to the website as well where I can capture interesting links from around the web and reshare with some comments like how Simon Willison etc do.
I am not sure how difficult the capture template for it will be though. It is going to be interesting for sure. Figuring out a decently pretty HTML export for it is also going to be tedious.
I think after this my next step would be figuring out how to blog via my phone. I do have termux installed and can access emacs on it. But it would interesting to write from Orgzly and have a git hook or something that pushes the org sources to version control while also exporting it to an HTML that can be uploaded as well. I need to think about a system for the above. Interestingly I could not find any way to have a default template for a note in Orgzly.
